Milan Fashion Week continues its fall 2025 season with a few unexpected gaps in the schedule, reflecting a trend for this fashion month. Notably, Bottega Veneta has chosen not to participate in this season’s shows and is currently without a creative director following Matthew Blazy's move to Chanel. Despite these behind-the-scenes changes, there was still plenty to see in the Italian fashion capital, with 56 shows and 70 presentations scheduled. The week kicked off with Gucci's fall/winter 2025 show, which will be presented by the brand's in-house design team after the departure of former creative director Sabato De Sarno. DSquared2 is also set to host a cool show to celebrate its 30th anniversary, promising to be a spectacular event.
Pastel Pink and Chocolate Brown
Two trend colors, we picked up during the both the NYC Fashion show and the Milan Fashion shows: Powder Pink and Chocolate Brown. And also the new Panetone colour for 2025 Mocha Mousse. Powder Pink - delicate and romantic, powder pink offers a sophisticated take on pastels. Gucci, Versace and Prada had a number of pink designs - even in leather! It can be beautifully combined with darker shades, such as the deep brown or Mocha mousse shades. Featured in collections from Max Mara and Gucci these chocolate tone pairs effortlessly with spring’s brighter colors, providing a chic alternative to classic black. In Milan, there was a lot of leather shown, especially in outerwear, in plenty of brown tones — particularly in Pantone’s shade of the year, mocha mousse.

Giorgio Armani collection at the FW Milan Fashion Shows, could be relied on bringing a serene style in a saturated luxury market. The 90-year-old designer described his collection as an attempt to "imagine new harmony," as I believe that is what we call need at the moment....". The collection featured weightless garments in earthy colors, including wafer-thin silk gowns with micro sequins for a dreamlike effect. Highlights included signature silk trouser suits in a “greige” palette and beaded pieces resembling blue quartz crystals. The show attracted stars like Cate Blanchett, Viola Davis, and Nicole Kidman.
