Damiani, the high-end Italian jewelry brand, is celebrating its centenary with a collaboration with Borsalino, the iconic felt hat maker. Both brands have a rich artisan tradition and originate from Piedmont. Symbolizing Italian excellence worldwide, the coming together of these two companies has led to the creation of three unique Borsalino hats, each made even more precious by the combination of jewels from three of the most iconic Damiani collections. The first model is a purple baseball cap decorated with ten points of light made from rose gold, diamonds, and amethysts, arranged to resemble daisies.
With the Margherita collection, the Maison Damiani has given a new interpretation of the sporty character of the Baseball Borsalino model, proposed here in amethyst purple colour. The dome is decorated with ten floral elements in rose gold, brown diamonds and amethysts of various sizes, one of which can be replaced with a splendid brooch, made with the same precious materials. Inspired by the surprising harmony of the flower of the same name, Mimosa reproduces the lightness of its buds with refined elegance. Original and elegant jewels that celebrate the essence of the woman.
Nina, Borsalino’s ultra-elegant, slightly retro cloche, proposed here in black, has been paired with Damiani's Belle Époque collection, the line inspired by the charm and joie de vivre of this unique historical period. The cloche features a refined white gold and diamond element on the band.
The Sophie hat, symbol of Borsalino excellence, has been associated with Mimosa, emblem of Damiani's extremely high craftsmanship. This model, made in wood colour, is embellished with a chain that surrounds the base of the dome and a sautoir necklace - both in rose gold, diamonds and Australian pearls - which hangs like a precious lace from the hat itself.
