The Food fair will take most of your time; but there is plenty to be explored in the Centro Storico: Piazza del Maggiore, the medieval landmark of the Due Torri Torre degli Asinell and the Basilica di San Petronio. Palazzo Re Enzo is a historical building located in Piazza Maggiore. It was constructed between 1244 and 1246 as an extension of the public buildings. There are plenty of Hotel options nearby; such as Art Hotel Commercianti
Bologna (150 m from Piazza del Nettuno). Located in the historical centre of Bologna; next to the San Petronio Basilica and the Fountain of Neptune or the 4 Star Phi Hotel Bologna, dating back to 1375, Phi Hotel is one of Bologna's oldest boutique hotel in the historic city centre.
