Apericena in Italy - who needs dinner?

We can say that Italy is a Republic founded on the aperitif, especially in the big cities. The aperitif is an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink that can be accompanied by small appetizers, while the Apericena is the union of dinner and aperitif: a buffet composed of a wide choice of usually savory dishes such as pasta samples or side dishes, appetizers, couscous, cold cuts and cheese platter - something for everyone. And obviously combined with a great choice of Cocktails and Italian wines. Here a couple of suggestions in the main Italian cities.

Silvano Vini e Cibi al banco - Milan

Milan is the home of the aperitif. But what happened to the good old "apericena"? The aperitif with the buffet, the one where you eat practically everything, from savory to sweet, and drink a drink. In the middle of the NoLo district of Milan, there is Silvano Vini e Cibi. There is no buffet as such but the aperitif concept still stands. The aperitif resembles dinner: you order a drink and choose what to eat, including lasagne, aubergine parmigiana or a focaccia with peppers. For the aperitif it is better to book because there is little space and a lot of people.

KM5 Cocktail Bar - Torino

Near the MAO (Museum of Oriental Art) we find the KM 5 Cocktail Bar. This place offers a tasty and plentiful aperitif with one drink per person (we recommend the Spritz). The cost is €18. You will find a buffet to draw on as many times as you like with 20-25 dishes, including cold and hot dishes, appetizers and more, waiting for you.

Cufù Apericena - Palermo

Cufù stands out for a truly rich aperitif with attention to detail. The aperitif dinner is a riot of gluttony, with a variety of dishes that satisfy all tastes: from the most traditional delicacies to innovative proposals that surprise the palate. The cocktails offer a refined taste experience, satisfying even the most curious palates. The experience ends in a delicious way with splendid sweets, accompanied by a touch of originality: nice gummy candies dipped in vodka, which add a playful and surprising ending to the evening. The ideal place for those looking for an aperitif that is not only tasty, but also original and well-orchestrated.
