The new Brunello Cucinelli Store in Venice

The new Brunello Cucinelli store in Venice has opened at the Palazzo della Borsa, the city's former stock exchange. It is located on the Calle Larga XXII Marzo near Piazza San Marco and spans two levels. The store exudes contemporary elegance and showcases simplicity and exquisite craftsmanship. The street is lined with magnificent Palladian buildings and used to be a prestigious area for Venice's aristocrats. Today, it is home to the city's designer and luxury boutiques.

The new store design incorporates some of the building’s original wrought-iron railings into a fully staffed bar, honoring the tradition of Italian conviviality where traders met and discussed. Brunello Cucinelli was committed to preserving the building’s historical and artistic aesthetics during the renovation, with close attention paid to conserving its original elements. The materials used for the renovation, from the Roman travertine flooring to the black nickel and glass counters and clay perimeter walls, reflect simplicity and symmetry. They aim to create a dialogue between past and present, enhance the beauty of the sumptuous Venetian craftsmanship, and uphold the Brunello Cucinelli brand’s distinctive contemporary elegance.
