Reschio Estate - Perugia

After years of careful restoration, it has been transformed into a unique hotel with contemporary design and a nod to the intriguing characters who once lived there. Within the castle walls, there are two interlinked courtyards – one now enclosed in glass and serving as the Palm Court, while the other is a grassy lawn surrounded by impressive mature trees and perfect for concerts and events. The rooms and suites are located within the castle walls, with views over the garden courtyard and the Reschio hills.

The outdoor pool is located outside the castle walls, surrounded by tall umbrella pines and providing poolside sustenance at Il Torrino. The ancient wine cellars below the Palm Court have been transformed into a retreat called the Bathhouse.

There are two restaurants to choose from - Ristorante al Castello and Ristorante alle Scuderia - both featuring traditional Italian specialties using ingredients sourced from the estate or nearby. The cookery school offers creative foraging walks in the grounds to pick local produce and transform it into scrumptious Italian meals.
