This Sunday 11 June 2023, from 12.00 to 22.00, the fifth edition of BeviaMontù is held in Montù Beccaria (Pavia), a food and wine festival whose stars are Montù's wine producers but which also hosts companies from neighboring vineyards. Montù Beccaria is a comune in the Province of Pavia in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 50 km south of Milan and about 20 km southeast of Pavia. Wandering around the stands you can taste traditional wines and dishes. The territory of Montù Beccaria covered with rows of vines and characterized by the presence of a castle, the main historical-artistic testimony of the village.
Viticulture is the main activity in this region and it is known for renowned D.O.C. wines. such as: Bonarda-Croatina, Barbera, Riesling, Pinot and Moscato. The historic cellars of the Montù Beccaria village are open to the public for guided tours within ancient traditions. Typical dishes of the Lombardy Cuisine include delicious polenta dishes or Risotto Milanese with Osso Bucco and many more traditional recipes.
