For Pre-Fall 2023, Ferragamo's Creative Director Maximilian Davis design vision is distinct, refined, and sleek. Described as ‘A Fresh Perspective,’ Pre-Fall 2023 is defined by an effortless sensibility. The high-octane glamour of Hollywood is reframed with a relaxed, modern ease, featuring minimalist silhouettes, clean cuts and versatile denims, coloured by the American Western spirit. Inspired by American Westerns, drawing from the history of Salvatore Ferragamo, who created the cowboy boots for the 1923 film The Covered Wagon; Davis injects American Western design codes such as denim coats, pants and shirt-dresses. Plus a color palette influenced by Mark Rothko paintings and geometric motifs paying homage to Nancy Holt’s Sun Tunnels installations.
