The new Franz Kraler chalet in Ria de Saco - to be opened in 2023. Franz Kaler; the family, synonymous with luxury shopping which owns the well-known luxury multi-brand in Dobbiaco and Cortina, purchased a refuge in the middle of the ski slopes, not far from Cortina. The Ria De Saco Refugio enjoys a favorite position alongside the slopes: with a panoramic view of the Tofane and the Faloria group. The restaurant will be able to accommodate about 40 seats in addition to a new terrace that will accommodate a total of 200 outdoor seats. To celebrate the upcoming renovation by the Gris Dainese studio, the Chalet became a pop-up Valentino Casa for 3 days, including a cocktail bar in the boutique.

Chef Graziano Perst, former Chef of Casa Italia at the Beijing Olympics in 2020 and Tokyo in 2022, prepared the menu for the inauguration. Chef Perst's local offerings included pumpkin gnocchi with smoked ricotta sauce and fried pumpkin and small venison goulash with potato and horseradish mousse. The fish dishes include fried prawns in a polenta crust and trout tartare with lemon and basil with sour cream: as a sweet final note, a yoghurt and berry mousse with raspberry sorbet.
