Seventy years and a tour to celebrate the music and career of one of the greatest songwriters of Italian music. "Gloria Forever" is the live project that on the night of 18th August brought Umberto Tozzi to the fortress of Mont'alfonso in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, near Lucca, as part of the "Mont'Alfonso sotto le stelle" festival. From "Notte Rose" to "Ti amo", from "Dimentica Dimentica" to "Tu", a lineup made up of timeless hits to be rediscovered. "Gloria Forever" will see Umberto Tozzi engaged for the whole of 2022. During the year, the incredible catalog of an artist who made the history of Italian music will be celebrated. In his career Umberto Tozzi has sold more than 80 million records worldwide thanks to hits of the caliber of: “Ti Amo” and “Gloria” which, played by Laura Branigan in 1984, brought the name of the Turin singer overseas. With more than fifty years of activity behind him, Tozzi has released 20 studio albums and 6 live, won the Festivalbar in 1977 with the song "Ti Amo" and in 1994 with the song "Io muoio di te", the Festival of Sanremo in 1987 with "Si può dare di più" together with Gianni Morandi and Enrico Ruggeri while with "Gente di Mare", in duet with Raf, he ranks third at the Eurofestival.
