Pierpaolo Piccioli adopted an extreme colour strategy for the Valentino fall ready-to-wear Collection. The look was all in pink - a bright vidid fuchsia pink. A few black pieces; instead of choosing the usual Valentino Red - a bright pink. But not a lolly-pop pink but a new pink colour, developed in collaboration with the Pantone Colour Institute to breate a new identity colour for Valentino. Apart from a few pieces of black and white, the focus was all on the new Valentino Pink. And the exceptional tailoring and skilful embroidery.
