Hollywood actors Jeff Goldblum and Kyle MacLachlan graced the Prada Men Autumn Winter Show catwalk, bringing a close to a quiet menswear fashion week in Milan that saw multiple designers cancel their shows in light of increasing Covid cases across Europe.
The appearance of the actors at the Fondazione Prada presented the second physical catwalk show from founder Miuccia Prada and her co-creative director Raf Simons since early 2020; the two exceptional guests captured the attention of those present; who they respectively opened and closed the show marking an unprecedented union of two of the fashion industry’s most influential designers.
The Prada Uomo show paid a real tribute to the coat, a mix between Havelock and Ulster models and to the shaped coat with important shoulders, in less rigid wools and trench coats in coloured leathers . The key accessories are the leather glove, as well as the square toe boots instead of lace-ups and sneakers. On the belts, because the waist always appears very marked and in evidence, there are the triangle pouches, the triangle micro clutches that recall the shape of the Prada logo. All in all, a slick and elegant look delivered by the Prada designer duo.
