The last last sequences of the second season of Doc - Nelle tue mani - is being shot. Some of the key actors, agreed to a shooting with Vanity Italy including Gianmarco Saurino, Pierpaolo Spollon and Alberto Malanchino. Some say that the DOC series has been so successful, as it was being screened during the lockdown. People became interested in doctors and hospitals and overall awareness grew. The new season is focusing on the post-pandemic , as if Covid had been defeated , and its aftermath on the minds of the key characters. There will be a few surprises....
Gianmarco Saurino was born in Foggia(Italy) in 1992. In 2011 he moved to Rome where he attended The Nation School of Cinema - Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in which he graduated in acting after three years of studies. After several years in theatre, he got his first roles in important TV series like "Che Dio ci aiuti" directed by Francesco Vicario and "C'era una volta Studio Uno" and "Non dirlo al mio capo 2" directed by Riccardo Donna. In 2020 he's in the main cast of "DOC - nelle tue mani" directed by Jan Michelini and Ciro Visco and in the same year he has been chosen in the leading role for "Maschile Singolare". When prompted how he felt after the lockdown, he commented that it had taught him to slow down.
Pierpaolo Spollon was born on February 10, 1989 in Padua, Veneto, Italy. He is an actor, known for L'allieva (2016), DOC - Nelle tue mani (2020) and The Red Door (2017). He came to the limelight after his role on “L’Allie VA,” a successful television series broadcast on Rai 1. He debuted in the world of television with the fiction “La porta Rossa“ on Rai Due. In DOC Nelle tue mani, Spollon plays one of the interns, Riccardo, the boy with the prosthetic leg. He states, he likes his character Riccardo very much, he wants him as a friend and makes him laugh with his jokes. His character, is very much loved by the public, we are already looking forward to the new season and his role in it.
Alberto Boubakar Malanchino is an actor born in Cernusco sul Naviglio (MI) from an Italian father and mother from Burkina Faso. In 2016, he graduated in acting at the Paolo Grassi Civic School of Theater in Milan. In the same year, he participated in the Biennale college in Venice following the Masters Declan Donnellan, Nick Ormerod and Pascal Rambert.
After his academic training, he starts working as a prose actor. In 2018 he made his debut at the Franco Parenti Theater with the monolgo “Verso Sankara”.
On the small screen he arrives instead by participating in several successful projects such as "La strada di casa", "Crozza in Wonderland", "Camera Cafe", "A step from heaven" and "Don Matteo".
In 2019 he is in the cast of the Netflix production "Summertime" and in the same year he voices the bear Tonio, character in the animated film "The famous invasion of the bears in Sicily", based on the novel by Dino Buzzati, and is chosen for the role of Elvis in the movie "Easy Living", written and directed by the Miyakawa brothers. When prompted of how he handled the lockdown, he admitted that he had suffered from loneliness. But it also helped him to reconnect with his thoughts, his sensitivities and frailties. The lockdown gave the opportunity to focus on our inner voice.
